Implementation of Plain Paper Certificates of Origin from 10th April

The British Chambers of Commerce have advised that from 31st March, the use of pre-printed Certificate of Origin forms will be phased out and ultimately withdrawn from circulation in the United Kingdom.

Blair Consular Services are excited to announce that from 10th April, you will be able to print your UK Certificates of Origin on plain A4 paper using a colour printer. All documents which are raised by Blair will automatically switch to the new system and the certified document will be returned to you in the usual way. Our clients who use our DIY service will no longer need to use the pre-printed blank forms when issuing applications.

This change is due to the UK government committing to the digitalisation of Trade Documentation by 2025, mirroring that of governments and trade bodies worldwide.

At this time there is no change to either the Arab-British Certificates of Origin or EUR1’s, which will still need to be printed on the existing pre-printed forms.

Our team are able to guide you through these changes, if you have any queries please reach out to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for more information.
